Stayed here for one night on the way back from Cornwall to break the journey. Had to park a short walk away as the carpark was full but this was not a problem. Nice comfortable bed . The star of the show was definitely the food. Great value and of high quality....and the beer was great too... service was spot on what more could you ask for but to crown it all the breakfast was amazing.... would not hesitate in coming back for a longer stay as the area has lots of interest as well
We stayed here about ten years ago, so it was nice to return to a great warm welcome, which awaited us. Staff very accomodating and friendly. Great service, good food and fabulous breakfast. John the owner lent us a wheelchair, which was a life saver and it meant we were able to take an elderly family member out to places, we would otherwise find difficult with just a walking frame, it was a generous act of kindness. We really enjoyed our time here, lots of places to sit inside and outside and parking space. The hotel is in the center of town so everything is within walking distance. Comfortable and clean rooms. Didn’t stay over as a local person who had Easter Day lunch here, as we also had our Christmas Day here. Hotel has been recently renovated and has a comfortable atmosphere, serves brilliant food and friendly efficient service. Well done and thank you to the new owners and staff and wish you all the very very best.

Three of us have had a Sunday roast here, in White Lion. The service was really good, thanks to Kim, who looked after us so well. She was pleasant, friendly and very patient. The food quality and pricing was really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Will definitely coming back.
I would like to thank The owners of the White Lion Hotel for their hospitality, service and the local people for their hospitality. We called in to watch the rugby and a bite to eat everyone was so nice and friendly, service was second to none. We booked our breakfast the next morning it was so nice Michelle, Michael and family were so accommodating and couldn’t help enough. On leaving we called in to say thanks we were invited back anytime. I would highly recommend the White Lion Hotel in Upton upon Severn a really nice place a lovely scenic area. Thanks to everyone.
